Ocwen Faces Suits from CFPB, 21 States

The CFPB, the state of Florida, and 20 other U.S. states have all filed legal suits against Ocwen, one of the nation’s top non-bank lenders. The CFPB alleged Ocwen failed borrowers at every stage of the mortgage servicing process. Ocwen believes the CFPB suit is politically motivated.
