Robert Shumake recently joined Calyx, a provider of mortgage origination software, as national sales consultant.
Shumake has nearly 20 years sales experience in the banking, mortgage banking and financial technology industries.
Most recently, he was account executive, digital mortgage at eOriginal, a provider of digital transaction management solutions.
Prior to eOriginal, he was vice president, national sales at ClosingCorp, a provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technology.
He also held sales positions at First Mortgage Corp., Home Savings of America and Washington Mutual.
Shumake began his career as a commercial bank officer at California Bank & Trust.
In his new role with Calyx, Shumake will be responsible for developing effective sales strategies and managing customer relationships for Calyx Path, the company’s latest cloud-based, dynamic, digital loan origination system.
