I appraised a property and indicated there appeared to be termites, as they were visible and appeared to be crawling out of the wood trim on the front door and were on the front of the house. The appraisal was made subject to a termite inspection. I have always assumed the termite letter was sent to the lender and that I did not go back to clear it, as I am not an expert as to whether the termites are still there or not due to unseen damage and infestation. Is this correct?
