Dreams of Getting Published?

Editor

Appraisal Buzz is looking for a few good writers. We are looking for appraisers who are passionate about valuation and want to contribute to the appraisal community by sharing your experience and knowledge. Appraisal Buzz readers are a mix of both field appraisers, review appraisers, appraisal managers and vendors. With such a diverse readership, the range of topics is endless.

Do you have a specialty? Are you a tech wizard that is always checking out the latest greatest tool? Is compliance and regulations your passion? Are you a USPAP guru? Can you offer advice for marketing or business best practices? Then the staff at Appraisal Buzz would love to hear from you.

If interested, there are just a few steps to your path to becoming a published author:

  1. Submit an article topic to Carol@Appraisalbuzz.com for consideration including a summary or brief outline of the article.
  2. Be ready to commit to a deadline.
  3. If accepted, be prepared to provide a bio and a professional photo. Just the highlights of your career in 3 or 4 sentences is sufficient.
  4. Remember when writing to be conscious of how people will be reading the articles. Most people read the newsletter articles from their phone or mobile device. Please keep your articles between 400 and 600 words.

Meanwhile, I want to introduce myself. As the new Editor of The Appraisal Buzz, I bring over 30 years of appraisal experience in both the commercial and residential areas. I have been a field appraiser, review appraiser and managed a team of valuation professionals.
