Podcast

The Appraisal Buzz staff is currently developing a monthly podcast for our subscribers. The podcast may vary from interviews with professionals within the trade or a lowdown on all the appraisal news from that month. We hope you’ll take a listen and we encourage any and all feedback to help us improve.

Two Appraisal Buzz Magazines

Appraisal Buzz is happy to announce that we will be offering our subscribers TWO magazines in 2016. The first edition of 2016 should be arriving on doorsteps in April. It includes interesting and important topics such as customary & reasonable fees, tips to better your business and, the green hornet. The second edition of 2016 will be released in November

Double the Valuation Expo

This year we’re excited to be doing two conferences, an East and a West Coast Valuation Expo. The first will be back in Baltimore, Maryland, July 11^th– 13^th.  You can once again experience the beautiful inner harbor while networking with clients and achieving 14 hours of continuing education credits. The second Valuation Expo for 2016 will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 10^th-12^th. Join us at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino located in the heart of the Vegas Strip. Valuation Expo offers the biggest and best trade shows with loads of networking opportunities so don’t forget to make your travel arrangements.

Appraiser Award

Allterra Group is issuing an award to the appraiser that strives the most to improve the profession and/or does the most to help the industry. Each state board will nominate appraisers and the winner will be announced in the fall. It’s a great honor to be recognized by your peers among the state board, good luck to everyone.

Trip: The first contest we are holding is for a great trip to Valuation Expo. The trip will be all-inclusive, which means a two-night stay at the host hotel as well as entrance into Valuation Expo and round trip flight. You can enter the contest here.

This contest was previously announced here. For those who missed it, we are holding a scavenger hunt until February 12. You have until then to send us a real photo (nothing edited or photoshopped) of a funny or crazy street sign. The winner will receive a free tradeshow pass to the Valuation Expo of their choice, good luck!
