First American has been hit with a cyber-attack. Not a lot is known at this point but we do know that First American Title, Mortgage, ACI, and DataTree are offline at this point. They do not have web, email, or phone services right now.
A lot of appraisers have reached out to the Appraisal Buzz to figure out what to do and we wanted to make sure we gave you the latest news as we receive it. If you use ACI for your appraisals you don’t have functionality right now.
While no timeline to restore services has been posted they have created an update page where they will post news as it comes in. https://www.firstamupdate.com/
